3D print technology is the manufacturing technology that allows free molding. 3d print technology can be molded freely and implement various colors, but I wanted to add a crafty technique that cannot be found in 3d printing technology. The imagination of the texture, which can be made from thin, long filaments, a material of 3d printing technology, was the main inspiration for this project.
Filament is cut and heated to form freely, and several filaments can be combined into a single mass by ironing. Inspiration and idea for this processing came from youtuber sanago.
I chose the candle holder as the first object to apply the filament craft.
Various textures and color variations were studied within two types of shapes.
