CAMFURSLINE is an office furniture company established in 2005 that produces practical and functional furniture, focusing on office furniture and student (educational) furniture. In 2024, CAMFURSLINE and Object with Name carried out a project to develop a lectern table with a modern impression that is different from existing lectern tables.
Design principles for a modern impression
Object with Name attempted to establish several principles for modern lectern table design. These principles are established to ensure that the lectern table matches appropriately with the space where it will be located and that the design elements perform their functional roles.
These principles are as follows:
1. The elements that make up the lectern table actively use geometric and linear elements.
2. The frame structure that allows the lectern table to stand is constructed by bending straight elements. (no curvy)
3. Avoid using decorative curves throughout the lectern table design.
4. The completed lectern table must be designed to give an light impression.
Object with Name created a miniature and space set and took photos to give a modern impression of this lectern table design.
We hope these images will help you create a modern first impression of the product.
Final presentation [ Pivo, Chop, Sca, Notice, Obel ]
Notice
The shape of the front Plate came to mind as I held the notice in my hand.
Obel
The shape of the legs reminds me of an obelisk monument.
Sca
The harmony of the front plate and the table reminds me of a face covered by a scarf mask.
Chop
The legs, which are divided like wooden chopsticks, allow this structure to exist.
Pivo
The shape of the leg is inspired by the pivot axis, which visualizes the X, Y, and Z axes.
